Your words. Your privacy.
Privacy, in plain words.
What Grid Folio uses to keep your account, grids, and progress working.
01
Information you share
When you create an account, Grid Folio processes your email address, authentication details, username, chosen avatar, and country. If you continue with Apple or Google, the provider shares the information needed to sign you in. Grid Folio does not receive your Apple or Google password.
Your account can also hold your custom words and grid names, Journey and Explore progress, badges, Points, coin balance, and transaction records.
02
Why this information is used
This information supports sign-in, email verification, account-specific progress, custom grids, leaderboard rankings, purchase verification, and fraud prevention. Diagnostic and network information may be processed by the services that operate these features.
03
What other players can see
Your leaderboard profile can display your username, selected avatar, country flag, Points, rank, and completed-board statistics. Your login email and password are not displayed on the leaderboard. Avoid putting private information in a public username.
04
Services behind the app
Supabase provides authentication and account data services. Resend delivers authentication emails. Apple and Google provide optional sign-in and app-store services. Store purchases are verified before coins are credited; Grid Folio does not collect your complete payment-card details.
Where rewarded ads are available, Google AdMob and its consent tools process information according to your choices, region, and their policies. You can review ad privacy options in the Coin Store when available.
05
This website
This website uses local storage to remember your light or dark theme. It does not include an analytics tracker or advertising scripts. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives the network information needed to serve them. The hosting provider processes requests to deliver and protect the site.
When you submit the support form, Cloudflare Turnstile checks the request for automated abuse. Cloudflare processes the request and Resend sends your name, email address, and message to Grid Folio support. We use this information to respond to you. Temporary abuse-prevention counters use hashed IP addresses and email addresses, and expire within about 24 hours. Your browser also stores a short send-cooldown timestamp for the current session. Do not include passwords or other unnecessary sensitive information.
06
Your choices and deletion
You can play as a guest, manage available preferences in the app, or delete your account under Profile → Settings → Danger Zone → Delete Account. Guest progress is stored on the device and can be lost if app data is removed.
Account deletion removes the login and linked profile and gameplay records. Limited transaction and security records may remain to verify purchases and prevent duplicate credits. Deleting the app alone does not delete a cloud account.
For access, correction, deletion, or privacy questions, contact [email protected]. Do not send passwords, verification codes, or private keys.
